T.I. T.I. has been sued by an up-and-coming rapper who claims Tip illegally used one of his songs. The rising rapper, Motoe Blizzid (real name: Nathan Filby), alleges that his 2006 track, “Reverence,” was sampled for T.I.’s Grammy-winning hit “What You Know.” Blizzid claims that his song made the rounds to a lot of music industry people before landing with Relentless Management, which has worked with T.I.

Motoe Blizzid’s lawsuit claims that T.I.’s joint the “same harmonic” range as Motoe’s record. The suit even includes a mathematical algorithm to illustrate the similarities between the two songs. Motoe Blizzid wants a jury trial.
